about the exofire.com domain?

One day when i was checking some websites i decided to go to exofire.com just to see whats it about, when arriving their i saw that their was a sale on the domain for 300 dollars, Whats up with that?

I'm just wondering that if someone buys the domain what will happen to all the people on the sub domain like me for example we.exofire.net .
