Hi

when I open the admin panel of my wordpress site, I am shown this

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /home/truit/public_html/wp/wp-admin/includes/deprecated.php on line 241

My Server is Absolute, any suggestions?

Many Thanks in advance......

Something is wrong with your WordPress installation if it is using more than the allowed 64M of memory to run.

I would suggest disabling some plugins, but you normally have to log into admin area to do that. Perhaps check the WP site to see if there is a safe way to disable the plugins from cPanel/File Manager/phpMyAdmin

You can rename the plug in folder via ftp to disable all plug ins or rename them individually to isolate the culprit.
Memory problems are generally resolved by increasing limits in config.php. Search wordpress.org and you'll find hundreds of posts.

Memory problems are generally resolved by increasing limits in config.php.

You can not "in-crease" memory limits in WordPress's config.php to more than the allowed 64 MiB of memory your free-hosting account has to use - it should be less

As descalzo said above - "Something is wrong with your WordPress installation if it is using more than the allowed 64M of memory to run."

Hi all,

Thanks for replies, I accessed my admin panel after disabling all the plugins. But still not sure why this consumption increased.

-Just to help out anyone else, I disabled all the plugins by accessing database for Wordpress. This way all your data remains intact.

Thanks

Could be a poorly coded plugin incorrectly processing data or anything really - is this issue now resolved?
