I think the current status of the Lotus server is absolutely unacceptable.

While I understand that servers will go down sometimes, especially in a free hosting service, the current situation is absolutely terrible, and unprofessional.

Free service or not, X10 advertises 99.9% uptime, and brags about their 24/7 tech support.

The Lotus server has been down for at least 8 hours now with absolutely NO feedback from x10. No one has had the decency to let us customers know anything about the issue. We have been completely in the dark, and x10 has not shown any attempt to correct the outage.

I'm sorry but if you're going to make outrageous claims about your server reliability you need to back it up. 8 hours downtime with absolutely no explanation or assurances that the problem is being corrected is unacceptable for any company.

Completely unprofessional. Tech Ash comes on here hours upon hours after the outage is reported by customers and the best that can be given is that they reported the outage to admins but there is no one around to fix it? What a joke.

Started it back up. Sorry for the outage.

About your complaint, we have lives. x10 doesn't make us any money so we all have work/school. Usually outages are not this long but we are currently don't have as many admins as usual. I came home and went right to fixing Lotus.

TechAsh did report it. There just wasn't anyone available to read it until now.
The issue was not caused by users. There were a few accounts that did not terminate correctly and caused apache to fail during a automated reload. It is fault with cPanel.

Thanks Chris.

The last thing I wanted was to sound like a total jerk, but it was getting very frustrating not having any response.

I did not know that x10 wasn't a larger for profit company, so the extended downtime is understandable.

My site is for a small photography business I run on the side of my real job and college, so I can definitely relate.

I apologize for the original tone of my post, but I hope you understand everyone's frustration.
