The reason I got was "Copyright infringement - distribution of drivers without distribution rights"
Yes I uploaded drivers to the hosting, but they were only backups for myself and there's not even ways people can normally access them or even know their existence.
I can remove them if you insist. Anyways please reactivate my acc.
Thanks.

Not know their existance? I stumbled right onto them trying to figure out an issue you had the other night with the site being down.

Most of those drivers clearly indicated in their EULA from HP that you cannot redistribute them. I found them without hardly having to look - your main site had a blank index so it shows "Index Of /". The storage folder intrigued me since File Hosting/Storage is disallowed explicitly in the TOS too.

Course once you read the EULA for the drivers and find they can't be redistributed by you...Well, that's a worse suspension.

This is zero tolerance and there's not a way to get it unsuspended/recovered. You can have someone else review it again if you want, but this was already hand-reviewed once.

As previously stated by Livewire, as to get an unbiased opinion, you were storing files on your account. This is against the ToS, and the file(s) you were storing were against their original owner's EULA/AUP/ToS.

So yeah, you're not going to be unsuspended. We have a zero tolerance policy about that stuff.

I'm sorry that I violated the rules, I really am.
So can you please reactivate it, I'll just delete the drivers and not use the space for storing any copyrighted materials, please?
Or at the very least, can I get back my wordpress stuffs?

Okay now I read and understood your zero tolerance policy.
I understand that it's stated there suspensions for copyright infringement are final, but my wordpress stuffs are not part of the infringement and they shouldn't be affected.
And honestly it's not like that I tried to use the hosting to distribute warez or anything, I didn't even get a warning before the suspension, even you can see that the infringement is more of ignorance n accidents than intentions.
Perhaps you treasure your policies and sticking to them like soldiers much more than customers I dunno.

Its an All or nothing deal.
as a bad example
If you walk into wal-mart, and then try to run out while trying to steal $100 worth of stuff, wal-mart is not liable or has any reason to let you in their store again, or any reason to reimburse the cellphone that got broken in the struggle, or your broken arm. Even though your phone wasn't related to the theft, they still have no reason to replace it.

At least x10 will let you back after breaking the rules.

Noe
Let me quote some parts:
(these you are familiar with)
Illegal Material: This includes copyrighted works, commercial audio, video, or music files, and any material in violation of any Federal, State, or Local regulation. You may not store copyrighted Mp3s or videos on your webspace in any way shape or form.
File Storage: Accounts are not to be used for file storage, your account will be permenantly suspended if found to be breaking this rule. Downloads are only allowed on your x10Hosting account if they have to do directly with your website. e.g. you developed custom software and are selling it or giving it away. Accounts may not be used for mirrors, game file hosting, or any other type of file hosting not specified here.

Now for some more parts that are related:
x10Hosting reserves the right to cancel any service provided at any time.
Backups are the sole responsibility of the customer. x10Hosting retains and offers backups to the customer but does not guarantee this service from failure. It is recommended all customers keep their own backups.

With those last 2 clauses, x10 can suspend your account without offering a backup.

On a side note: X10 or any free host is the worst place to store backups.
Go out to the store, spend $20 and get a flash drive and store backups on it.

Yea I know, according to the policies you are all right and rightful, and they are not about making sense or being reasonable they're just what they are.
I was just hoping on the people.
Anyway.
