Hi, All.

I have tried to access my emails using the library computers, but their firewall does not allow.

Does anyone know a way to use the I.E. ports to access the emails using portable email?

You need to see if you can get onto a proxy or use something such as a VPN to tunnel your traffic for e-mail through. Most of the time that will bypass any filters or firewalls that are messing with traffic.

You can use proxy settings in portable email program to connect via proxy server.
http://samair.ru is a good proxy site. Here try proxy with different ports, if one don't work.

Use this: http://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTAB.../Windows-Portable-Applications-OperaTor.shtml

Its the opera web suite bundled with tor and privoxy. Opera has built in e-mail client and irc chat, and with tor you should be able to access any site or service you like. Its a single, simple download. I hope that helps you out.

If using this software is against your school's terms of service though, the use of this program would be prohibited and you could get into a lot of trouble for attempting to access things against the system admin's wishes.

Just to let you know, I will not access anything ilegal, porn , or ortherwise.

I just want to be able to download my emails onto my USB, take it home and read. I receive over 200 emails a week from friends and family.
