Account Deletion

Hi, I would like to have my account deleted so I can re-intstall it. For some reason, its not letting me into cPanel or ftp the files.

Hello Sir,

Sorry about that, had you read the News, you would have know that we had a maintenance, and any accounts suspended on or before July 16th would not be automatically restored. You were suspended on July 16th, which caused a staff member to have to manually restore your account.

This is why your account did not work sir; but I have come to the rescue. As we speak, your account is restoring by the magic of the servers. It should be working within the next 5-10 minutes, but may take upto 24 hours due to DNS update issues.

If after this time sir your account still does not work please come back onto this here forum thread and we can support you more.

I would like to renege on the last post, because I lied.

After a post-check of your account, I noticed your accout was 1 Gig while it was restoring, and it tipped off on my head looking at your domain 'musiccorner', I was like hey maybe this guy makes his own music.

So I thought I would check the site out, but I was denied entry. I did however follow your link to Facebook, but I also took the opportunity to check for some copyright files.

So I dived into the account, I didn't even get to the fun when in saw a 'proxy.php' script, but I checked it out, wasn't anything big, so I looked passed that for the sake of humanity; but oh boy what did I find here, just about 200 .mp3 files.

200

So I checked the files out, and then man it was just downhill from there. I found some Coldplay. But I stopped there.

So basically, your account is suspended for 'copyright violations'. Your account falls under our Zero Tolerance Policy and will not be unsuspended, and is now pending termination.

I only use that account to teach myself server side scripting php and asp.net and no one else but me ever visits that site. It's strictly for my own learning purposes as it says on the login page.

Except that he went directly into the file listing and found all the violating material. Whether it's accessible to you only or not doesn't change that it isn't allowed, so it got zero tolerance suspended by an Account Manager and is no longer eligable for review, unsuspension, or providing of backups.
