Account disabled due to spamming; even when forum post count is 0

To whom it may concern,

Hi, I woke up today and saw an email regarding my account being suspended for eight (8) counts of spamming. My control panel says they were all performed on April 23rd, 4:31pm, (which was yesterday for me). I'd like to contest this ruling since I don't even post in the forum at all, despite how informative the content there are. My forum account says I've still got 0 posts.

I would appreciate it very much if someone kindly looked into the matter. I'm in love with x10hosting and its features; a suspension from here was something I've been really careful to avoid. I wouldn't want all that lost because of a glitch or something I didn't do.

I am guessing your site was spamming. What scripts do you run?

The suspension was not for spamming the Forum, but was for sending out spam emails from your hosting account.

Yipes. That's entirely my fault then. Does this mean I have to stop using the service?

I installed the latest wordpress, along with comicpress to see if it was easy. It was the most basic setup only; I hadn't even uploaded a comic page yet.

Are you saying that some WordPress plug-in is responsible and that you were not intentionally spamming?

I can escalate this and have an Admin review it, but please do not waste their time if you are guilty (as opposed to being 'responsible' ).

State your case and I will escalate this to a Support Ticket.

Not purposefully! It may be a default setting I forgot to turn off, I'm not sure. I'm not familiar with WP, nor do I have any readers to send mail to. =/ I'm really sorry for the hassle.

Holy snap, my account's been compromised? I honestly don't know how it could be sending that. Should I remove the wordpress thing asap?

Edit: This is ridiculously embarassing, I am really sorry for the trouble. I was sure I got the install thingeys for WP and CP from their official pages.

I'm not an expert at reading email headers, but I don't seem to see anything related to x10 in the email header. I only see links to an x10 hosted site (though that HTML page is probably spam) but the mail headers don't seem to relate to x10. I could be wrong though.

It might, suspiciously enough, but not by my design. All my sites there, aside from the WP one, are from my web development 1 classes, which each have their respective folders.

Added: Is there anything I ought to be doing right now? If this means my account has been jeopardized, should I be removing the wordpress through the ftp/changing my password? Or should I wait in case doing so might be considered tampering with, well, evidence?

Hello again, it's been about a day so I hope this isn't considered as spam. I just wanted to say again that I didn't mean to cause the harm I managed to let happen yesterday, but nevertheless I still want to apologize for it. =/ I'm still not sure if it was the wordpress installation or something else entirely, but I still really should have double checked when I first got my copies.

I've also been meaning to ask if the suspension I'm under is temporary or not, and if it is temporary, are there are things I am supposed to be taking action on? Such as clearing the ftp of the things suspected to be causing the problem? I didn't want to go ahead and try this yesterday since I'm not sure if the situation's being investigated or not, and if it'll make the scenario worse for me. If it's not, well. Can someone please tell me if I need to look for a new host already?

To be frank, I don't really know how to prove my innocence here, if I could at all, but I'd very much want to try. Thanks again to everyone who posted to help and your patience.

I dunno, but probably the answer is "NO".

I've also seen word "Viagra".( Medical term or Drug name). It's enough to call is as spam, if you have composed that E-Mail.
