Account Login Issue

Hello, Whenever I try to log in to my account to manage my website, It asks to link to my forum account. When I enter my hosting account user name which is riveted it gives me the error: The hosting username you specified does not exist. I signed up for my account last night, so I know there was plenty of time for my account to create. Please help...

OK, one more question, what exactly are forum credits? I have searched and haven't found anything describing their purpose...
