I paid the inactivity fee of $3 assuming this would enable my account. I still cannot access my account. Where is this $3 fee mentioned when I signed up? Seems like a bit of a scam, but now I just want my account reactivated.

I'm not seeing any hosting account associated with this forum account. So, it is possible that your account was closed if the inactivity timer was incorrectly applied. I'll escalate the issue so an admin can double check this for you.
