I requested a free hosting account this morning at about 11:49am EST. I got the confirmation email, and entered the code into the panel. It's been 10 hours and 49 minutes since I confirmed the code, and the knowledgebase said that I should open a support ticket, so I am doing so.

It can take up to 36 hours. Your account has not been forgotten

Because there is a lot of server work taking place, there can be a 24-36 hour delay until your account is fully created. Wait a little longer and if the time frame I stated above passes and the account is still not created, feel free to post back.
