If logging in at http://x10hosting.com/login.php , you should use your forums username and password.
If you mean to cPanel, you may have set up a different password (I can confirm your username is the same).
cPanel is located at http://hotnews.x10hosting.com:2082/ and is where you can set up various aspects of your hosting settings, whereas the account panel is more for the account details itself.
