I am having severe account problems. I have a developer account, which I have never used since I got it. I have tried several times to get this working but besides the initial day the account was created, I have never been able to get back into it. I would really like to know if there is an easier way. My domain name is ultimatechair.x10hositng.com and my user ID is Oscarb . I can log into the main x10hosting page fine, but then it keeps asking me to link the account. I have a forum account with the ID. I can go to the forums and login to with the same ID. But if I try to link that IS, it tells me it does not exist. I would just like to be able to use this account. Is there some easy way to resolve this?

If your account was inactive for a long time, then it might have been dismissed. But I am not sure about it. But to a gr8 extent, I feel that it's dismissed. You must keep in mind that first, your site is suspended if you don't login to forums once in every two weeks. Second, there must also be such deadline for cpanel too.

This is just unbelievable. Do you even read posts before answering? I clearly stated that I apaid for a dev account I clearly asked in forum before paying for a dev account if there were any login restrictions if I paid ofr a dev account. I was told no!!!!!

Now in your post you tell me you have to loging every two weeks? That sounds liek free acount? Did you read my post through? This is the worst support I have ever seen and hardest system to sue I have ever seen.

I have bee force to start an account with Microsoft officelive , however I am happy I did. It is much easier to use and I am telling all people who think about paying for this, TO FORGET IT, WASTING YOUR MONEY! I will also be writing horrible reviews on this service.

I as department head in IT I do not have time to spend on this trying to get into my own account when a simple password reset should be all that is required. This is rediculous, I have had th account almost 4 months and only needed it twice and could not use it either time

If you had take the time to read through my post, you would have seen that the site will not take my password, I had asked for my password to be reset and emailed to me or PM'd to me.

Instead you tell me to try to login from a link, when I can not because it does not take my password. Just terrible service. then you can only get supprt in forums and have to wait a day or so for an answer, ets see how long it takes to actually get a password reset

Do not listen to what sumitmehta said. It's posts like that which lead to us disabling other users from replying to support threads.

Paid accounts do not have any sort of inactivity limit.

Your hosting account username is not oscarb, it is ultimate.

Now that you know the correct username, could you please try to log in to your account? If you still need your password reset then, we'll do it.

Finally, Byron, thank you. It is working now. It did not work with that same login right after your server move though. But at least somebody finally answered the question. You may close this thread now as resolved, because i don't see where I can do it.

Alright. Sorry for the inconvenience of this whole process. I'm not sure why it did not work right after the server move.
