Hey there. I am trying to back up my site (Joomla) but every time I try to use my backup utility (Joomla Pack) x10 suspends my account with the following reason:
"You have been suspended for high system resource usage. Accounts are suspended for usage when they are detected to have consistently high cpu usage, memory usage, or process amounts. This is an automatic suspension, you're able to unsuspend yourself immediately."

Im assuming my backup component is using too much CPU usage?
I still need to back up my site, but on a monthly basis. Is there any way I can get around this?
Also, if I do a manual backup (via FTP), will I still run into the same issues?

any help would be great. :)

Thanks in advance.

FTP'll work cause that actually doesn't do anything to cause a high resource usage; it just transfers the files. My bet as to why joomla casued it is that joomla was probably trying to compress the files into an archive first - that'll do it.

As for the mysql part, you should be able to have PhpMyAdmin in cPanel export it all; unless the database is absolutely huge it -should- be fine :)
