I had a free account for awhile, and I didn't use my website for about a month. I uploaded Glype today because my friend said I should do it for school proxy, and as soon as I did my account was suspended. Is this against the rules? I deleted the Glype folder, so can an admin or something re-activate my account?

Also, if I can't get my account back can I please get my stuff off the FTP?

I didn't know it was against the TOS to use proxies, and I won't do it again.

Hello,
If you take a look at our Terms of Service, which you agreed to, it states: * Proxies: We do not allow any kind of proxies to be used on our servers, for any reason.
Your account is suspended and will be terminated two weeks after your suspension date. No backups are allowed and we will not speed up the process for you. This is part of our Zero Tolerance Policy.

:(

I am very sorry for installing a proxy. Again, I didn't know it was in the ToS(I should of read it)and will not use it again. But please un-suspend my account, I spent a lot of time setting up my site to how it looks now.

Again, I am truly sorry for violating the TOS, but I know now not to use proxies and will not use it again.

Hello,
As I said above, I cannot speed the process up and I certainly cannot unsuspend your account. You can read more about our Zero Tolerance Policy here.

This is total bull. I put several weeks into making my site. This is unfair. How would you like it if you put months into a website you made, and then because you broke an unfair 'rule' you didn't know about all your work was deleted and cannot be re-covered?

Hello,
When you signed up for our hosting, you agreed to our terms. Because you broke our terms of service, we have the right to suspend/terminate your account. Our hosting is free and is a privilege, not a right. I suggest that you make backups of your website in the future to prevent any data loss.

I understand this. However, it is insanely unfair to have instant permanent suspension. You should give a warning at first, since 99/100 people never read the ToS.

Hello,
When you check the box that says you have read the Terms of Service, you should read the terms before joining to ensure that you are following our rules. You also agreed to Section 8:
If an account is suspended for a breach of the terms outlined above the account holder will immediately forfeit all rights to the account in question including access to any and all files and\or databases located within the account. x10Hosting is under no obligation to provide backups in full or partial to an account holder that has been suspended.

If you would like to challenge this suspension, I can escalate this thread and an administrator can take a look.

Yes, I would like an administrator to take a look. I understand I have violated the rights of the ToS, but I think those ToS are extremely unfair considering you have users and actual customers that spend a lot of time setting up their websites, and it is unfair to just take that away. Imagine if I was a paying customer, and I had a website with a LOT of traffic to it. Then my account was suspended for this un-fair rule. I understand it's YOUR rule, but I think that it is an un-fair rule and a warning should be given first before suspension.
