My account of the username yground has been suspended due to the use of nulled scripts. I apologise for this issue, however the reason for it's use was purely experiemental and temporary. I will not be uploading any nulled scripts again, thus it would be very appreciated if my account was reactivated.
Thankyou

Hello yground!

You were suspended for having some sort of nulled script or warez on your site.

x10Hosting has a strict zero-tolerance policy.
You will not be un-suspended and your files and data are un-retrievable.

By having any nulled scripts, warez, or anything of that sort you are violating x10's TOS that you agreed upon when registering for their services.
Illegal Material: This includes copyrighted works, commercial audio, video, or music files, and any material in violation of any Federal, State, or Local regulation. You may not store copyrighted Mp3s or videos on your webspace in any way shape or form.
Warez: Includes pirated software, ROMS, emulators, phreaking, hacking, password cracking, IP spoofing, etc... This also includes any sites which provide "links to" or "how to" information about such material.

If you believe you have been wrongfully accused, please do not hesitate to reply back here.

I have not been wrongly accused, but would like to clarify my use of nulled scripts. I have been using phpbb forum software for some time now - free and open source.

I had been considering transfering to vbulletin - paid software, however was unsure if the transfer procedure between the two software would be compatible. Thus I used the nulled script of vbulletin in an attempt to test the compatibility of the transfer procedure, which if successful, I would buy the software. I was meant to delete the nulled script after testing which lasted 24hrs, however, I have been suspended before the removal could be carried out.

Once again, I apologise for it's use and for my ignoration of company policy. I have spent alot of my time on the website, and the associated databases are invaluable to me. Please reactivate my account - I assure you, I will immediately complete the stalled removal process of any nulled scripts, and will strictly abide by the x10hosting's policy henceforth.

Thankyou

Hi yground,

Again, utilizing nulled scripts is a violation of the zero-tolerance policy of our terms of service, and you have been permanently suspended. Because you have admitted to having nulled scripts on your account, you are not eligible for an appeal.

I know what I did was wrong. But please note as I have mentioned, it's use was extremely limited. In fact, if you can review my account, I have phpbb running on my primary domain, and the nulled script on a temporary 24hr test sub-domain (test.mydomain.com), which lies completely independant from the main site.
I believe this violation is not serious, though I know it still is a violation of the company policy, but as I said earlier, I am very sorry for it's use nonetheless.
Please reactivate my account as too much of my time has been spent towards my main site, for it to be brought down due to a minor 24hr experiemental procedure which itself had no backlinks, nor any contact with users besides me. I am terrbily sorry, and I cannot afford to lose my main databases.
I assure you, this will NOT happen again.
Thankyou

Ain't happening. X10hosting has the no tolerance policy for a reason, and despite agreeing to the TOS you knowingly uploaded a nulled script, were caught, and suspended.

No matter the excuse or reasoning behind why you did it, you will not be unsuspended.

EDIT: Oh I should clarify too; it's considered software piracy; the USA legal system pretty much defines that as grand theft, so while you might not feel it's a serious violation, trust me when I say it is.

Yes I'm sorry, it is a serious violation. but believe me, I've invested ALOT of my time on my (perfectly legal) website. But I kindly ask for a careful consideration of a one-time excuse from runing nulled script on a test sub-domain for an extremely short margin of time, completely independant from any outside contact. While this is a serious violation, in all practicality, it is relatively minor. I wish you would understand that this punishment of denying me access to all my hard work (my databases which unfortunately I did not backup) seems way too harsh for a such a small mistake.
Again, my main site ran phpbb - this is NOT a nulled script.
I do not care about my website's files, however, the databases are too much for me to lose. Please, please let me at least have them back. Even a temporary reactivation while I backup my databases will be extremely appreciated. I apologise once again - but please allow my access to my databases.
Thankyou

OK, what part of "zero-tolerance" is not making sense? Or is the the "permanently suspended" part that isn't clicking? The rest of your site may have been legal and the nulled script may have been set apart on a test domain for less than a day, but the fact is, you committed software piracy which directly violates the TOS you agreed to abide by when you created your account.

As stated in the x10 TOS (I believe it's the TOS… it's stated somewhere official, I know that), your account will not be unsuspended for any period of time whatsoever for any reason. Period. It is your responsibility to backup any and all files that you deem important and/or necessary. The lack of a proper backup is your own fault and x10 cannot be held responsible for the loss of your databases. You agreed to these terms when you made your site.

By unsuspending your site or giving you access to anything that may be illegal would mean we're breaking the law which we are not about to do. You agreed to the terms of service when you signed up, you broke not only them but US law which WE are bound by. We will not break the law to give you a backup. As stated, it's zero tolerance policy for a reason, we do not make exceptions.

I get that. I'm okay with losing my account. But ALL I want are my databses. Please just give me my databases :tear:

EDIT: My databases are not illegal - they are based on phpbb.

Did you even read Corey's post?

yground,

This is getting out of hand. You have had six different people (including the CEO of our company) tell you that you will not be unsuspended, repeatedly explaining to you what our zero-tolerance policy is, and you are still begging to be unsuspended. I am closing this ticket, because as far as we are concerned, this problem is resolved, with the resolution being that we are abiding by US law and you have been permanently suspended.
