I purchased a new domain a month ago. My account has been suspended due to copyright infringement.
I had not uploaded anything, right now I am configuring DNS settings and trying to add a new addon domain and experiencing lots of problem.

Kindly look into matter and please reactivate my hosting account.

Please tell me what type of files you were hosting that infringed copyright?

EDIT: seems you have some files that you don't have rights to..

When I last saw that site it had links to full Pokemon downloads; whether or not they were hosted on x10 doesn't change that they -do- violate TOS.

Also, it's not an automatic suspension reason - the automatic ones are something like "Violation of x10hosting terms of service - illegal content was detected on the account". This one's just saying "Copyright Infringement" which isn't one of the automatic ones - someone manually reviewed it, found it to be in violation, and suspended it.

That said we can still escalate to staff for a re-review if you want, but don't expect an unsuspension since it looks like it was already manually reviewed once.

Yes at once it contained Poke'mon episodes..But those were the links to some other websites which contained
those episodes...Is it wrong to give link to other websites? I haven't uploaded any of the episodes to x10hosting.

So kindly look into matter and reactivate again..

.
Look what Livewire pointed
Providing such links is also VIOLATION of TOS.Its clearly stated http://x10hosting.com/tos.php So your account remains suspended

Please can you highlight that point. I've not found anything on that TOS. I'm not advocating culprit but just asking for my knowledge.
One more question I wanna ask from x10hosting staff that what you think is wrong, linking to the page which contain the download link of copyrighted material or linking to websites which contain copyrighted material. I need to know this because we are human and can't crawl every site we provide a link to.

I am pretty sure that Livewire was referring to this:
"Illegal Material: This includes copyrighted works, commercial audio, video, or music files, and any material in violation of any Federal, State, or Local regulation. You may not store copyrighted Mp3s or videos on your webspace in any way shape or form."

I am inclined to agree with you that this part of the TOS / rules could possibly be a little more clear. But, on the other hand, this was not an automatic suspension and was manually reviewed by staff at least one time. And, I would also point out that we should all take great care about websites we link to and periodically review any websites we link to, not only to comply with x10hosting policies, but also to protect ourselves from possible legal problems directly.

Today blog/site creation has gone so easy that nearly every 100th person using internet had made some or other blog/website, some on very diverse topics and if we find some content worth sharing on that blog/website, we generally link it, but the same blog may contain link to illegal materials. And it is not easy to find because of non organized contents.

I was asking for my security. OP already accepted that he wittingly linked those pages, and legal actions are not defined for Indian's as here no one dare's to enter court.

He has not stored those files on his webspace. BTW, I like Pokemon

Fair enough, we'll escalate this again.

Just to clarify one big note though - it doesn't matter whether or not the OP is based in the USA - the servers are, so if the site is in violation of any USA laws (which it may very well be), then it still falls under Illegal Material and stays suspended.

Escalating shortly; OP, this will end up as an escalated ticket, so watch your email and the new link that'll appear way at the top of this thread.
