My account was recently suspended due to excessive Disk Space and Bandwidth usage. I looked on the images on my user information, it said the allowed amount of disk space is -258 and the allowed amount of bandwidth is -6 This might be some glitch on the server, but I find it unreasonable for my account to be suspended on a server error. (Note: My account was unsuspended 6 minutes later, but I still don't like the fact that it was suspended in the first place)
Exact Error I got:
You have been suspended for high system resource usage. Accounts are suspended for usage when they are detected to have consistently high cpu usage, memory usage, or process amounts. This is an automat. (There was more but it's not letting me view the full message)

Resource Usage is never based off of bandwidth or disk space used - it's based purely on the RAM and CPU/number of processes at once.

Are you running any plugins on your SMF forum, and if so which ones? It's entirely possible it's overloading from that, or if SMF in general isn't coded well.

I have a chatbox if that's what you meant by a plug in. That's the only thing I can see that would be overloading it. Or it could be the newer version of SMF that I recently installed, because I haven't got this error on the older version of SMF

Chatbox is likely the cause; they're actually explicitly disallowed in the TOS because of the resources they can take up when reloading. Try removing that and see if it suspends again; if it does let us know, we can escalate this up to staff who can find the log of what actually tripped the suspension :)

I find that the chatbox isn't the cause though, because on a previous account that I had (I had to delete it because the service stopped working during the server move.) and while it was working I had a chat box there and I never got the error

None the less Chat scripts are not allowed.
There is a chance the resource monitor that does the suspensions was offline at the time. If you removed it and continue to get suspended, we'll get an AM in here to look at it.

It's uninstalled, I'm deleting the package from my server, if I continue to get the error, I don't see why I shouldn't be able to have a shoutbox on the index page of the forums.

Cause it says in the TOS that shoutboxes and chatscripts are no longer allowed; this was put in a few months ago because most chatbox/shoutbox scripts hit mysql way too often.

The fine print is if it's an EXTERNALLY HOSTED shoutbox, it's fine - it's only a problem if it's using x10hosting's resources.

it's a lame rule but whatever. I'll comply, even though the the service can suck a lot, especially with all the internal server errors I get.
