Ad-Free (I think Cossacks)- Nothing works...

Problem: I get "The page cannot be displayed" every time I try to go to anything - even my cpanel! I also got this error message when logging into the main website:

An Error Has Occurred


Although you've logged in successfully, there was an error retrieving your account's hosting type from the backend system.​

I'd be happy to post whatever other info you need to resolve this.

Also, I'm only hosting this, I'm not using the file manager, nor do I know about anything else... If that helps at all.

It would appear that your account has been terminated. This would happen if you had not logged to the Forums for two weeks + 10 days.

Explanation:
To reduce the number of 'dead' accounts on the servers, it is required that users login to the Forums at least once every two weeks. If they do not, their account gets suspended then 10 days later it get terminated, unless the user asks for it to be un-suspended.

If this happened to your account (An account manager will be able to confirm this), you will have to sign-up again.

If you have not logged into the x10hosting forums for 2 weeks. The account goes into an "Inactivity" suspension.
You the have about 10 days to request that the suspension be lifted. Failing to do so the account automatically gets terminated.
If this is the case you then can use this link http://x10hosting.com/logout and resign up for another account.

Your kidding, right!? I log in at least once a week... Sometimes more then twice...

This is really ticking me off, especially because I've had problems with this host from the start...

I picked this host not knowing that my account would just get "terminated for inactivity" for no reason.

If this isn't solved, then I am going to make sure that I tell my close friend not to sign up, he was saying it looked really good, but then he found out about my account, and he's already having second thoughts...

So for you complaining you must have failed to read the terms of service. We do not tolerate these types of accounts on x10hosting. If your friend plans to sign up i suggest you both read the terms of service.

Wow, I just read the ToS five times, and I saw NOTHING about "Rapidshare / File Sharing." If you could be so kind as to tell me the section where it says that, I would rest my case.

And now, I would really like to find the "Give your opinion" section... Or does this hosting not have one? I wouldn't be suprised...

Did you have links on your account to illegal files on Rapidshare?

If so, it'd fall under the "Illegal Material" part.

Alright, one of our administrators terminated it so it's the best bet that you did have something on there. Again, you are free to sign up for another account with us, the directions were listed above.

Accounts are only terminated if they have major TOS violations thus causing server issues for everyone else. When accounts are used for rapidshare and file hosting it doesn't just affect you it affects the entire server and all the users on it. When the staff terminated the account there must have been a valid reason. We don't just terminate accounts. It must have been causing server issues.

But I wont be signing up again, I'm going to pay for a host now. One that isn't so strict.
