Hello,

I want to add a CNAME Record named * ( wildcard ) to my Domain.
In my Simple DNS-ZONE-CONTROL:

localhost.e-guestbooks.tk. A 127.0.0.1 Löschen
mail.e-guestbooks.tk. CNAME e-guestbooks.tk
www.e-guestbooks.tk. CNAME e-guestbooks.tk
ftp.e-guestbooks.tk. CNAME e-guestbooks.tk
*.e-guestbooks.tk. CNAME e-guestbooks.tk <- Added by me

By adding this line I think for example the URL test1234.e-guestbooks should be redirected to my webspace,
but it doesnt work :S ->
There is only displayed this text:
Default Web Page
And not my page :S

Why doesn't work this wildcard-entry?

Hello,

I believe free hosting doesn't support wildcard CNAMEs.

Thanks.

Hello,

Yes, advanced features such as this are restricted on free.

Thanks.

You could try premium. If you're interested I'll double check with an admin?
