Add my IP so I can connect to SQL base.

Hello,

Hey guys, I returned yet again to X10 hosting. I tried out a few good hosts, but all were paid. Overall I was getting the SAME stuff from my paid hosts, that I get for free from X10 =O.

So I moved back, and my account was deleted, No big deal, I backed it up.

I just re-applied for one, and the wait is only 5 mins. So it should be done in a few more mins.

Now, I need a program on my PC to connect and read/write on a SQL base hosted on X10.

I learned that in order to do this, a account/server manager might need to add my IP to the acept list. If this is possible, can someone please PM me? I have a static IP so just my IP will do.

Not until we have some type of automated solution in place. If we allow one we have to allow them all. It's impossible to keep track of hundreds of IPs allowed through the firewall like that.

Oh alright, Before like, 3-5 months ago, Brandon (I don't know if he still -works- here, Added my IP to the firewall, I dont know if it's still there.)

I could easily host the base on my computer, but my computer isn't always on. I only wanted to host it somewhere remotly so my script can let people register. So they could atleast get an account you know?

I understand your problem, and I'll host on my PC while you get it sorted.
