add-on domains ? but how do i configure?

i want to create a seperate add-on domain hosted from my free hosting acount

question is how do i do it and configure it?

can i use a .co.cc domain name when im doing it also ?

any info would be great guys 8)

Go to: cPanel --> Domains --> Addon Domains

Then fill in the required details. You can use a .co.cc domain, yes. Please bare in mind that Google doesn't index .co.cc domains, so you'll loose traffic.

i tried it earlier but was getting ip errors and was wondering if it was maybe due to all the server upgrading thats going on at the moment?

as for site traffic it would only be a photo gallery to share with friends although i have a google webmaster acount to index my site via xml sitemaps?

just tried again and got this error

Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.

any idea what this meens?

ive set the .co.cc acount to point at the x10 nameservers ? any idea what im doing wrong?

Hopefully sysadmins will have this fixed soon. Nothing you can do in the mean time though.
