adding a .net domain name to my account

how do i add a .net domain name to my account i have registered the domain: clanminers.net from domaincentral and i went to addon domains and put in the domain name and the folder i want it to go to with my default ftp user and pass but its not working what do i do?

You need to set the domain nameservers to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com at your domain registrar for the domain to work.

i cant figure out how to change them to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com i have it set to external dns what would i do next because there help has the wrong info

You should ask for support to your domain registrar.
You need to have your domain pointing to x10hosting nameservers to be able to host it with us.

ok pointed it to your nameservers(there help is horrible gives u the wrong links to update stuff) now what? do i add it to the addon domains list?

In the cPanel, you will find addon domains. Add your domain there.

You will need to wait for the DNS nameservers to update. This can take upto 6-12 hours.
