Hi,

I had won a 2 year subscription to my .com domain from one of your contests, and now I have my .com domain with X10Hosting.

How do I add a subdomain to it, and how do I make other settings too?

Sorry if it's been posted before too, I searched but didn't find anything discussion X10Hosting domains specifically.

Thanks,
Aman

in cPanel, go the the Subdomain link under Domains category.

from there you can just create a subdomain from whichever domain you have in your x10 Hosting account.

what kind of other settings are you referring to?

Thanks for the reply.

I would basically want this sub-domain to point to my blogs on Blogger.
That's why I would want to edit the CNAME settings of this sub-domain.
Is it possible through cPanel?

Go to the DNS Zone Editor on cPanel (either the simple or advanced will work)

Just note that editing DNS record might take awhile for changes to take effect. So don't be alarmed if it don't work immediately - try again around 24 to 48hours later.

Thanks a ton guys.
Okay, I'll wait for 24-48 hours and if I face any issues, I'll bump this thread again.

sure no problem...

you can also go to http://network-tools.com and run a DNS record enquiry to see if the DNS have been updated as what you want it to be.
just enter your domain in the textbox and click Go!

Additionally, the 1 - 2 days is a worst-case scenario; I've made changes before that have taken effect almost immediately.
