Adding second website

Is it possible to have 2 websites going at one time? I am taking 2 classes simultaneously on web design and both require a separate upload to a site. There will be some shared files.

sure

use your account's domain for one site

and set a add-on domain for the other site

and see --> [ https://x10hosting.com/support/domains/addon-vs-parked-domain ]

If you don't have an add-on domain, you can just use a sub-directory. Example: Site 1 at http://user.x10host.com and Site 2 at http://user.x10host.com/othersite/

Thanks. The file new domain name is now listed as a folder within my cPanel of my original web domain. I'm guessing I just add content to that file?

you would add it to that "folder"

That's what I did and nothing is happening when I try to open the website.
