I'm having difficulty setting up a new addon domain to my account. The domain "benirwinmusic.com" is currently pointing to ns1.x10hosting.com, but all I see is the Apache error message. Am I doing something wrong? Please advise.

What do you mean by the addon domain is pointing to ns1.x10hosting.com? If it's the nameservers you placed at your domain registrar, then it's correct. Make sure you also put in ns2.x10hosting.com as well there.
If you mean that when you placed your domain under addons in the cPanel and have it pointed to ns1.x10hosting.com, then that's not correct. Your addon domain should be pointing to your site instead.
