Right then,

Today I registered on http://www.uni.cc/ for a free sub-domain where I get full control over the name servers and everything.

First of all, I set the name servers to x10's name servers (ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com). This went through OK, with the site saying the changes would take up to 48 hours to go through.

Then I went into cPanel and tried to configure the domain as an addon domain. I set everything up the way I wanted it with *mydomain*.uni.cc as the domain. When I clicked 'Add Domain!' to continue, it hung for ages doing absolutlely nothing. When it eventually stopped loading, I was left with a cPanel page that said:

Addon Domains
Addon Domain Additions
<!--

And that was it. I could post a screen shot if you wish. I just don't get what the freaking hell is going on......

Please help somebody :eek4:

Luke.

EDIT: Just realised I spelled the title wrong in my haste....

I could be because the DNS changes haven't been made yet. Try waiting a bit and then try to add it again.

It normally tells you that though, it'd say error from park wrapper or something.

The html comment hasn't been closed, that's the problem, if you look at the code there's nothing after it.......

Yes, the problem you're getting is strange. A Spanish user posted having this same error yesterday in Absolut too. I looked at it but couldn't fix it.
I'll move this thread to "Level Two Support" and wait for Corey to check it.

I too, am having this exact problem.

CPanel user: doherty
Server: Absolut (ad-free)
Subdomain : int.exofire.net

I successfully registered the domain mad-robot.ca some days ago and set the nameservers correctly. but when I go to Cpanel to add the domain, I get the exact same output as tnl2k7 is getting.

At first I thought I messed up somewhere with the spellings of the nameservers at my registrar, but I've triple checked everything. I've tried doing it on different computers at my office and at home, but I get the same results every time.

Best of luck with this one!

Hi,

Due to various annoying issues, I've decided to set luke.uni.cc (the subdomain I'm using) as my main domain through the x10 Account Managment panel. It's easier than trying to configure cPanel to work, so I've worked around the issue.

I'll leave the thread open as the above member (and probably everybody else on Absolut) is still having the problem.

Thanks for the hosting and sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused,
Luke.

If another user posts that the issue still persists we'll look into it.
If you need further assistance feel free to re-open this thread or create a new one.
