addon domain problem

I have an old uni.cc domain that I wanted to set up as an addon domain for my site... however when I try to create it on cpanel, it says that it's already configured?

but it's not on the exsisting addon domains list... it's not on the parked domains list either.

I'm not entirely sure what I did or did not do, but I'd appreciate it if someone helps

Look to see if you have a parked domain, or something else like that similar with the same name or subdomain. I can't really tell you unless you let me on your cPanel.

it's not on the addon domain or parked domain list,
but i see it on the dropdown for redirects and subdomains

Better, you raise an ticket to remove the entry from DNS and re-create it as you like.
