Addon Domain

I had a free hosting account x10hosting that i didn't use for some time and it was suspended then i created a new account and trying to add the real domain i have as an addon domain on the new account but it keep telling me there is an error since it is being used by another user.

The domain is Genepit.com and the host is genepit.x10hosting.com

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello houssamc,

It looks like your domain (genepit.com) is pointing to a different sever than your current genepit.x10hosting.com. You can try logging into your old account on the other server from http://www.genepit.com:2082/ and remove the domain from the hosting. If the domain is the main domain on that account, you will need to log into the linked hosting control panel account that goes with that old account you mentioned. By the looks of it, whatever account genepit.com is on is not suspended so you shouldn't have any trouble logging in if you can remember or retrieve the username/password for your old account.

Please note: Once you are done transferring the domain to you new account, please pick one account to keep and let us know which one to delete. Having multiple free hosting accounts is a violation of the ToS, but since you didn't know your old one isn't suspended any more it will be ok until this is sorted out.

I tried logging in but i can't.

My old account cpanel name was genepit and my new one is also genepit i am using also same password i used for old one, the old account link is genepit.x10hosting.com and after it was suspended i created new account also as genepit.x10hosting.com

so i have no idea how to login to my old account :S

i am using godaddy domains so i logged in and changed the name server but it still say on x10hosting that this domain is for another user .. what can i do ?
