Yeah, I dunno what's up, but I put the ad code in, and nothing's showing up. I even put in the generic ad code for my hosting plan, but I got nothing. Are the ads even working? Either way, please don't suspend me, I cant help not having ads.

You should be okay. As long as the ad code is where it needs to be, x10 staff have a way to check to make sure the code is there ( regardless if the ads show or not )

If you do happen to get suspended, you can explain the code is there and they will do a check to make sure.

Fair nuff, I flooded my index page with the ad code just to make sure. I have a pretty good idea that its because my site is <div> based. I use that and CSS instead of tables.

That shouldn't matter. Although, I don't know what would be causing the ads not to show. If you're that worried open a ticket however don't expect an answer right away as the staff are extremely busy back there.

I've had the same problem for about a year now. I wouldn't concern yourself too much :p

It is somewhat annoying because I want to design my site with the ad code in mind, but I can't expect it to be there or not.

Ok, I wont concern myself with it.

One other thing that is troubling though, is that I installed a forum, but I'm unsure of how to put the adcode into the forum software. Is it really necessary to put it in there?

I would find a way to do it. The ad code must be on every viewable page. I would search the forum for your forum software and look for an ad plugin.

Otherwise, you probably have to modify the source code and plug it in. There probably will be very many files to edit. Again, the forum for the forum software would be a very good place to start.

I'm doing the same thing right now, so I know how you feel :p

Depending on the forum software you're using there must be a folder for the theme, find a file in that folder such as footer.php (or whereever you'd like the ad to appear - eg: in the header (header.php)) and stick the code in that file then it'll be on all pages when it's needed.
