Ads in admin area

Hello.
I was just wondering if you have to have ads on your admin area than is only visible for you?
Edit:
Beacuse i dont know how to do that in Joomla and phpBB3 (RC7).

Can you elaborate your question little bit. Which admin area you are talking about?

No you only have to have the ads on all publicly viewable web pages. Admin areas are seen only by you and do not need the ads.

I'm also interested in knowing this. For some reason in my SMF forum, the ad mod doesn't show ads in the admin area. It shows it in the login page, but not the actual control panels. Is that ok?
