I have no idea how to get my ads up on e107, the inbuilt banners module is quite frankly confusing... if anyone could please help me in setting the banners up I would be quite grateful. I'm using the advanced hosting and I downloaded the zip file, but not sure what to do next.

Thanks in advance for all help

you insert the codes in the top of the index.php file or the header file for a template

At the risk of sounding like a total n00b, how do I do this exactly? I've tried inserting the ad code into theme.php in a few locations, but when I do the pages refuse to load and the page only shows a white screen. What do I do?

My website: http://burnout.x10hosting.com

I searched the forums and followed the e107 tutorial, however I've run into problems as nothing is displayed. I am not sure if this is because I've done something wrong, copied the code wrongly or my theme won't allow it (e107 is in Fi Black 3d at the moment).

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hey just follow the these simple steps to add x10's ad.
1. Open any text editor e.g., Notepad, copy/paste the ad code & save as x10ads.php then upload it to e107_directoty/e107_images/banners. Delete all other files in this folder.
Use the PHP code not Java Scripts.
2. Go to banner module and select x10ads.php. Don't forget to set this banner module active.
Thats all, enjoy!!!

Sorry for seeming so criminally inept but I don't understand why this isn't working. I followed your instructions, edited the php ads.php file from the ads.zip , deleted all other banners, and set the new banner active. Unfortunately, I don't see any ads at all. If you visit my website link you will see that there are no ads. If anyone can help me I will make them an admin so they can help me set these ads up in e107.

Thanks again,
David

--update: I changed the theme a few times and it's now shown up, but it must be a theme issue. I will play around with it and try and get it to work properly.
