Advanced DNS Zone Problem

Hi, I was attempting to change the dns zone settings for my domain and now it won't let me
edit the files or revert them back to default so now I'm left with a domain name that points to the wrong
IP and the mail accounts don't work,

this is the message I get when I try to edit anything

You do not have permission to read the zone for : jayodesign.co.uk

Any help would be appreciated

Just to add onto this, I tried to delete my parked domain and got this,

Error from park wrapper: Unable to find out which user owns the parked domain jayodesign.co.uk.

What are the changes you tried.

Means What are the Zone records you changed?

Hi, I changed the following

jayodesign.co.uk from 74.63.233.26 to my IP

I didn't realise that it would affect the mail and ftp settings untill I'd done it and now I cant get back to it

Tried to login to cpanel using chopin.x10hosting.com:2082 and select simple dns editor then delete that and re create it.

Just tried to do what you said but still no solutions, under simple dns it just says,

There are no user-defined zone records for jayodesign.co.uk

Could one of the team delete the domain for me then I can just add it again, would that solve this?

On the topic of DNS, I've just installed BLIND on my home server can anyone give some advice on the configuration files.

Have you tried resetting the Zone File in Advanced DNS settings in cPanel. Then try deleting all instances of your domain name in Subdomains, Addon Domains and Parked Domains. It sounds like you have somehow created a conflict which this should clear.

yes I had tried that but like I said it just won't let me change anything or delete the domain.

not sure what happened but it would look like the staff have deleted the parked domain for me, an as such all the DNS settings have gone.
