Hi. I'd been working on my new site, mami.x10.mx, for months, when at the begining of June I was hospitalyzed due to a cardiac condition.

Now I'm better, and when I try to pick up my work on the site I found my account suspended due to inactivity. When I try to revert the suspension, I get "We have disabled registrations from your country of origin due to continued abuse"

Which I understand, but I'm not a new registrant, I've been a member for quite a long time, and now I wonder if all my hard work is forever lost.

Thank you very much.

(By the way, that's the reason why I couldn't follow the standard appeal procedure, I get stuck there).

Is your account registered to a different forum user? This forum user does not have a hosting account.

I'm sorry to report that based on the information you have provided above, it looks like your hosting account may have been terminated - the only metric x10hosting has to measure clients' continued interest in hosting services is the monthly logon process, and client's that miss the login have their accounts suspended, pending timed termination. I'm not sure on the timeframe for this process but believe it is an additional two weeks.

Please understand that whilst this is unfortunate in your case, without this pruning process the servers would become quickly overwhelmed due to the number of active client hosting accounts sharing server resources. Also note that due to this, it simply is not logisitically possible to offer backups, which is why we all suggest either working on your site locally then uploading, or creating regular backups.

I should probably follow my own advice...

I completely understand, it was a fatality.

I just think the system should let me activate my account back, instead of rejectingi me as if I were a new applicant, at least.

Thank you very much for your response, anyway.
