Alternate DNS

I registered a domain on an alternate DNS root ( http://opennicproject.org/ ) but how can I add a DNS record when I tried adding a parked domain it I get the following message.

 		Error from hooks wrapper: Domain action was not successfully completed  [1]. Error: Error from park wrapper: Sorry, cannot determine nameserver IPs.  Please make sure that the domain is registered with a valid domain  registrar.

Any one have any experience with this?

Are you sure that your registrar has them as the DNS provider?

Would you post the domain you are trying to add? ( add spaces, etc, if you do not want the post to show up on a Google search of the domain. )
