In order to get more traffic for your pages i think you should use some SEO free tools
1) one possible solution is to get free traffic http://freetrafficsystem.com
2) other solution is too flood with high anonymous proxies but you can get banned if you have adsense (in fact i think this is an antisollution)
3) create backlinks on affiliates , forums etc

Yes actually, there's AdBrite and Bidvertiser, but I found Bidvertiser likes to show risque ads so you should probably avoid them if you have a family-friendly site like mine (heads up: game is out the window)...

I like http://www.projectwonderful.com/. I haven't used them myself yet (I intend to), but I see it used all the time on web comic sites... non-comic sites use Project Wonderful too, so I'm pretty sure it can be used by lots of types of websites. It works a little differently to adsense, but perhaps it is worth a look into.
