I tried getting into it, but quickly realized there is a pretty steep learning curve. And the idea that you have to play longer to gain rank makes it harder for new people to join.

I did enjoy the training missions though. The scout training was my favorite.

America's Army.. ahhhh brings back good ol' memory's. Played it till version err.. the one where they said the lag was gonna be less and you could drive stuff (overmatch ?). Never really enjoyed just playing the game though. D'you happen to know something about [SMiRL]? ;)

I like the game. I think it is a little to rough on a pc. I understand good graphics games do that but pretty much you need a nvidia GeForce 8800GT with 4gb Ram and a dual core processor pushing 3.2 or better. To make it worth playing.

The 2.8.2 version which came out about two weeks ago came with another map. Its called Rummage. It's like a beefed up version of the Urban Assault map. Anyway, the game is nice but the system requirements needed to play it is getting higher every time a patch comes out. The latest patch itself is a whooping 800+mb. And I had to reinstall my OS back to Windows XP because it seems to have some issues with Vista. Now, all I need is a another 2Gb of RAM so that I will enjoy the game much better.
