Hi all. I was going to hold off making a thread because I figure it's just due to whatever's been going on with the databases, but reading other threads it seems that most people's problems have been resolved already.

I don't know if my databases have been disappearing and reappearing (they've been intact each time I've checked), but whenever I've looked at my site (since approximately this time yesterday) I've been getting the following message:

Error establishing a database connection

I triple-checked the configuration file (for Wordpress) and it's using localhost. Help?

As you already checked the database host is set to localhost, Check the remaining settings like DAtabase_username, Database_password confirm they are correct.

Yes, all of those are correct as well.

Backup first.

Then for confirmation. You delete the database user(only Database Username NOT Database) and re create it and assign to the database. Change those parameters in the config file.
