Another FTP-Issue

Hello there,

I had some strange ftp-Issues using the ftp browser of coda for mac. Sometimes I could log in, sometimes not and I didn't find a pattern why. Now I tried it once with FileZilla and voila, there is an error message:

Status: Waiting to retry...
Status: Resolving address of thegoldenbus.tk
Status: Connecting to 184.154.58.130:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response: 421 50 users (the maximum) are already logged in, sorry
Error: Could not connect to server

So, Error 421 50 Users logged in...
But the only user who logs in into ftp is me, so I'm kind of confused. Who are the others? Even the ftp Session Control in cPanel (If it ever worked) does not display any results.

So, it seems my ftp-Connections are staying logged in, even if I don't use it anymore. Or am I totally wrong? I'm not that Server/FTP expert, but it would be great if someone could help me...

Hello,

The user limit is per server, and with this being shared hosting, odds are a fair few people are connected. We're still waiting on a fix for this, so for now I suggest you use cPanel's file manager....or persist with FTP. Up to you.
