any remote uploading script?

well, i find that FTP and cpanel file manager is quite laggy. esp cpanel fileman v3. it took about 3mins for the file man to work. so i searched for a remote upload script that can upload directly from another webserver w/o having to download into my local computer and upload again. however, i carn find any. help please

Wouldn't that be slower because of firewall?

not sure, bud from what i saw using one of my wordpress plugin, it only took a few seconds to remote upload a plugin into a folder
