Gmail seems to have messed up for me too. I know another that this happened to but I know that servers will keep files over an extended period of time.
What I cannot understand is that if a company is going to destroy your files for the "sin" of not logging in in over a month they could at least do the courtesy of sending the poor guy his/her files and ask them to simply re-upload.
Clients should be given a grace period especially if they've been with you for over a year - which is my case. I wanted my site. I just can't believe how unforgiving this all is when I really had no control over certain things that came up. A grace period would have been nice.
Is there anyway you can find it in your hearts to restore?
