aol mail no delivery or response

my aol account send mail to my site account but not the other way around. also has no failed mail message. whats going on?

You may need to check your spam or bulk box. emails from the free servers tend to get marked spam simply due to abuse.

still having troubles with sending mail to aol. now waits 24hours then returns with perm error see below

AOL likely has us blocked for the second and third reasons; unfortunately it's a free host and abusers often go and spam the place up. We do have systems in place to mitigate most of the damage, but it can't stop it all.

I'll forward this to staff but there may not be much that we can do - they probably had good reason to block us >_<
