Are FTP servers down?

Hello!
On Filezilla, for the past few days, I have tried to logon to my server, however it does not ever connect. I have done this repeatedly; even reinstalled Filezilla, but still it does not connect. Is anyone else having this problem, and will the problem be fixed?

I have the same problem for the past few days !!!!
Filezeilla try ftp connect but when connect to host the problem is that can't retrive directory list
Hi revise .htacces but i think that isn't the problem

there has been a few people reporting ftp issues mostly using filezilla.
i dont use filezilla myself and i dont have any issue with ftp or uploading.
i have dreamweaver cs5 that i use to ftp with.
i suggest for now that if you have issues in filezilla (or other client)
you can either try another ftp client or log in to cpanel and ftp that way.

I'm having the same problem with Filezilla.. been trying to connect for 2 days now..

Yesterday it was saying the server was full which I've never got before and now it its saying this (IP removed by me)..

Status: Retrieving directory listing...

Response: 257 "/" is your current location

Response: 200 TYPE is now 8-bit binary
Command: PASV
Response: 425 All reserved TCP ports are busy
Command: PORT ...,...,...,...,196,186
Response: 500 I won't open a connection to ............ (only to 61.68.190.241)
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

Installed WinSCP FTP and that connected to x10 just fine however it's not letting me transfer files.. wonderful.. just wonderful.

EDIT: Now Filezillas has finally connected sucessfully too but now its not letting me transfer files either.. arrrghh. I REALLY need to get these files on there..
