Are we allowed to open ports on x10?

Are we allowed to open ports on x10 hosting? If not for free members, what about for paid hosting?

Why would you need to open ports? I am going to say no, that we don't. We're a webhost, not a shell hosting provider. We don't allow users to install 3rd party programs on our servers.

I'm building a chat system, and it needs to use a server port as the backend for the script. Thanks for the reply though.
