Hi,
There seems to be a problem when I try to upload my website to my free webspace using Dreamweaver.

Everything works fine when I conne
ct just using the FTP login details, but as soon as I add the remote folder in the site manager, Dreamweaver says the folder in question cannot be reached or might not exist, even if I just put /public_html/ down. without my domain folder after it.

Yet in Filezilla everything works without the slightest hitch.
Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance.

There's a limited pool of active FTP connections; Dreamweaver wants a continuous connection forever, basically.

Thank you for your quick reply.
So, basically nothing I can do about that, then?

Not really, no. The base of the problem is that there are a lot more user accounts on each of the Free Hosting servers than there would be on a run-of-the-mill (paid) shared hosting server, so resources are necessarily limited. Developing locally then syncing up is really the only way (unless you're using a web interface that only makes periodic server requests with no persistent connection).
