This very well your website, but has a problem is it takes long to load, to reduce this would put less news or pictures you put in the beginning.
put fewer pictures per page and some work out.

You could do this to reduce the number of entries on the home page

MP: Board-> Options-> Reading-> blog pages show up-> put the quantity you want in the box-> Save Changes.
