What version of ASP.Net does x10hosting support? 2.0 or 3.5?

Sincerely,

In between

MONO (the Linux compatibility for ASP.NET) supports most of 2.0 and some of 3.5. I would suggest reading their documentation to learn what you can and cannot do in MONO.

Thank you. I'll be using 2.0 then.

And also, I have this error when I try to log in on x10hosting.com

A fatal error has occurred processing your request, please try again momentarily. The error code provided is: Unknown

Is my account being created and that's why I can't log in?
Because I been waiting for 5 hours for account creation pending.

Sincerely,
Rithy

No problem! If you have problems still tomorrow post back here or submit a ticket.

I tried to find the version of MONO we are using, and I couldn't. When you get your account set up, I believe you can write an app in ASP.NET to get the version. At least, I think if you throw a fatal error it will tell you :p
Edit:
Found it for you! I know enough ASP.NET to know how to make a fatal error haha

Version information: Mono Version: 2.0.50727.42; ASP.NET Version: 2.0.50727.42

Aww, that's too bad. We don't have the current version.

But...I can still work with ASP.Net 2.0.
Who need AJAX anyway...

Sincerely,
Rithy

Lol, I think you don't get what I meant.

I'm satisfied with ASP.Net 2.0.

It's not easy finding a free web hosting company as great as this one.
Beside, I don't think I can get any free ASP.Net hosting.
It's not that I don't like to pay.
It's just that I'm only 13 and I need to prove to my parents that I can make a professional website. Then I can buy a domain and get a paid host.

This lead me to another question.
If I were to upgrade to a paid hosting, does everything in my Free Hosting transfer to the Paid Hosting?
And also, does Free Hosting and Paid Hosting here have a great different?

Sincerely,
Rithy

Yes, you can specify that you want to upgrade your free account or create a new account when you upgrade.

There is a noticeable difference in uptime, you get priority support, and more resources on paid. I have both, so I can say that I would go with the paid if you have an important site, but free is good enough for most sites :)
