There are numerous recent threads (such as http://x10hosting.com/forums/free-hosting/117347-aspx-files-not-working.html) that indicate that mono is not running on the free hosting servers so .aspx pages don't run. It appears most of these threads are closed and so there are no replies saying "yes, it's all cleared up and my site is good again." I've been trying to run the ASP tutorial (http://x10hosting.com/forums/tutorials/104039-how-get-asp-net-work-mysql-x10hosting.html) but I'm unsure if the errors are due to mono not being restarted or I need to do more debugging.

Can anyone answer whether ASP is back up or are we still waiting after the upgrades?

Thanks.

Sorry mono project is down after the server migration. After the server migration they have installed the mono back. But not properly configured yet.

Thanks for the response. I suspected as much but wasn't able to confirm. I'll keep an eye out for it and post when it is back up.

Don't expect a good asp.net service from a linux server. Mono is not a perfect asp.net module. Mono is not a product from Microsoft. It only supports asp.net 2.0 with limited features.
Asp.net is down here for morethan 3 months now and x10 does not pay any priority to put asp.net back.
If you need to host an asp.net site i recommend a Microsoft server other than a linux server. But if you decide to continue with php this hosting package is morethan enough. Although it is free is has less limitations.
