Hey Guys

Since you changed everything in the Admin Control Panel

Where is our Backup Option ? And The Theme Option ?

Another thing you should do is have a option so we can change it back the Admin Control Panel was before

People are asking these Questions but not getting any answers .

We need to know

In the information that corey posted regarding backups was that the new backup system is still being implemented. There is an icon in cPanel called R1Soft backup or something like that. Some people have successfully used it but mine is still not working.

He also stated that the cpanel theme will not be changeable.

Currently, you could use the old backup software that is available in cpanel and that is called backup wizard.

I am on stoli and the new backup feature (R1soft) just started working for me today.

Are we losing the old backup system? Worked beautifully for me (when I had it)

As I understand it from the announcement dated 1/29/09, the R1Soft Restore backups will/is taking over the old system.

DemonicDemon, as you can imagine staff are very busy implementing new features to better the hosting and whilst this shouldn't detract from helping users Corey HAS made an announcement and that section of the forum should be checked regularly - your questions have been answered there.

But to reiterate it, if you haven't bothered looking

cPanel has been replaced with a new theme. No, you can't change it . All the same functions of the regular cPanel are there, it's just a different color. We are slowly customizing it to better help us and you. We hope to have some tracking of processes and such implemented at some point also. If you hate it that much you can always upgrade to paid hosting
