Backup impossible ?

Hi,

I have a blog and a SMF (with 20 person )my account don't use a lot of ressource.

Yesterday,i made a backup of my installation (SMF+Wordpress) by FTP,and this morning I see my account suspended for :

O_° I can't do a FTP backup in X10 hosting without have my account suspended ?

A FTP Backup is a normal usage of an account,no ?

How many concurrent transfers do you have set in your FTP program?

I just backup a SMF files and a wordpress file,anything else.I have anything else in my account.Just one transfert...~150 Mo

Now,my account is reactivate but my site is down.

error etablishing a database connection.

I have a problem with changement of name domaine,my tichet has solve only 2 days and now that.

Sincerly,it,s very difficult to keep a site online in your service.

If your site needs 100% uptime, do not expect that form free hosting. As to your backups, once you have the main install backup up once, you should only need to backup the database and forum uploads files in subsequent backups.

Hi,

I'am very sorry.

But my site is new: so,i put my domain name the 04/05/10 -> Bug (error to change the domain in account panel)
The open ticket was resolve the 14/04/05. 10 days of downtime...

The 16/04/10,site down for the raison i say.
This back up is my first main install backup because my site is finish.All webmaster have need a complete back up of a site ! It's a normal usage.There are not abuse.

My site is yet down.
Since i have unsuspended my account i have this error :
error etablishing a database connection.
in phpmy admin :

#1129 - Host 'int.lotus.x10hosting.com' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'.

I don't want a 100 % uptime service for a free account but i don't want a 100% downtime.
Since i have put my domaine name I have only 3 day of uptime in 15 days.
I have experience in another free hosting service and i don't have as probleme.

I hope quickly solved of this problem.
