I seem to always run out of disk space
The reason this happening is because of the backup process is running
I thought we were no allow to run a backup process?
Is there any way to turn the backup process off? I can't seem to fine it

i dont think x10's account backup processes can be turned off.
but if you use wordpress or other scripts they might be the problem.
many create automated backups which should be disabled.

you should also check and remove any such backups as well.

Do you have any more information about this background process? What software is it?

Well here is the directory the backup is in:
softaculous_backups
Here is the file Name:

wp.26_13229.2021-06-15_19-25-30.tar.gz

If you go to the softaculous page (User Settings)
WordPress Plugin / Theme Sets -- WordPress Plugin / Theme Sets

I see the following:
Backup Locations Default Name Backup Location Edit Delete
is checked Local Folder /home/jerome1g/softaculous_backups -- --

I would like to turn it off How do you do that?
I can delete the backups But I would have to continuously log in to do this

I found it. Click the pencil icon next to your installation in Softaculous. There's an option to auto backup you can disable.

Upgrade to Minor versions only --- this one is checked
Upgrade to any latest version available (Major as well as Minor)

Auto Upgrade WordPress Plugins --- is checked
Automated backups --- "Don't Backup" ( currently set)

I can't find any information on those files. Can you try renaming them?

You have no cron jobs, which supposedly softaculous uses for updating. I can't find any good documentation on the process.

Good job! I couldn't find any documentation on your problem, but you had it figured out. I'll have to save this for future reference.
